Meet the Groomer

 Meridith is a Westfield native and has 9 years of experience in the dog grooming industry. She has worked for & managed salons at both major corporations & has also worked at a salon within a veterinarian's office. She is CPR & First Aid certified & holds certificates in advanced understanding of skin and hair. While she is highly skilled at grooming dogs of all sizes, she has a particular soft spot for the little ones who are often the most challenging due to anxiety & temperament. The smaller you are, the bigger & scarier the world can seem. It is her mission to ease the stress of grooming for these pups as much as possible. In fact, the smaller underdogs are who inspired her to take her skills and industry knowledge & put it on wheels. Often, the brick and mortar grooming environment is just not well suited for many pups. It’s too loud, too distracting, full of strange smells, and just plain ol’ scary being cooped up in a kennel awaiting their turn. It feels less personal & more like an assembly line. That just isn’t the grooming experience Meridith wants dogs to know. She cares so much about their mental health, she wants to ensure they feel safe every step of the way, free from distractions and kennels. She aims to create a lasting bond of trust & comfort with each pup that comes to her.

When she's not grooming, she is learning new tips & tricks of the trade & attends continuing educational courses.  Her love for dogs cannot be expressed in mere words. Styling pooches is the absolute highlight of her life.
